Flowers in the Forest October 21-22
…and S’mores around the campfire
Each fall, we join with friends of the Herland Forest to plant thousands of daffodils and tulips throughout the cemetery. We take a special delight in transforming graves into bouquets. In spring, as the winter snow melts away, we love to celebrate the beauty of life with a riot of color.
If you’d enjoy being part of this joyful celebration of nature’s beauty, you’re invited to don your jeans and get hands-on with planting the bulbs that in the spring will celebrate the memory of loved ones who have passed over, but who are not forgotten.
And at the end of the day, we’ll have a campfire, toast some marshmallows, and share stories of those who’ve gone before.
We hope you’ll join us.
